Abinadi Meza will premiere The Perfect Room, a site-specific, portable video with sound as a part of the 8x8x8 LON/MSP/NYC exhibit at The Soap Factory in Minneapolis. The GPoint Electronic Festival is a project of New York Dance and Arts Innovations, a non-profit organization. The Prisoner, a new video by Abinadi Meza will premiere at Rochester Art Center (MN) and from 2.4.05-3.31.05. The Prisoner is a 14 minute video with sound. The footage is appropriated from the 1928 silent film La Passion de Jeanne D’Arc by Carl Dreyer, and is re-rendered as an animation. The content revolves around Jeanne's political status as a prisoner and her torture at the hands of interrogators and prison guards. For more info, click here.

Abinadi Meza and Alison Gerber will present a new radio/installation project, Bobbing for Apples, at Art's Birthday Party at Konstfack in Stockholm, Sweden from January 20-24, 2005. This project will be broadcast by Sveriges Radio (Stockholm), Radio Russia (Moscow), ORF (Vienna), RNE (Madrid), Radio Berlin-Brandenburg (Berlin), SWR (Baden-Baden), Radio France (Paris), DeutschlandRadio (Berlin), and 747 AM (Holland). Bobbing for Apples is an indoor underwater concert and game.

Abinadi Meza is included in Radio, Access, Democracy, organized by Walker Art Center as a part of the Radio RE-volt media activism project. Radio RE-volt was initiated by Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla; Meza will join them in this project, along with Tetsuo Kogawa and artists from free103point9 transmission arts in Brooklyn.
On Saturday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 pm, Meza will perform with Tom Roe, Ben Owen, and Damian Catera in Radio 4x4, a live sound broadcast on 4 seperate radio frequencies.
